Mont Rochelle is a stunning 26 bedroom hotel and vineyard just under an hour's drive from Cape Town in the town of Franschoek which is famously known as the French Corner of the Cape and is considered to be the food and wine capital of South Africa.  There are five different room types (all named after a type of grape!) and all come come with Africology branded bathroom amenities, tea and coffee facilities, mini bar, plug adaptor and postcards with stamps!   

There are two restaurants at Mont Rochelle - Miko, the main restaurant, and the Country Kitchen which is adjacent to the winery and is an ideal spot for a light lunch in the sunshine or a relaxed meal in the evening.  Staff will also prepare a picnic basket for you to take with you if would like to go off and explore the grounds.  

Guests can also enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool and spa treatments during their stay as well as the gym.  Complimentary mountain bikes are available for guests to use on the property and there are some wonderful routes that make it easy to explore the surrounding area.  If you prefer to keep your feet on the ground you may prefer to hike through the hills, valleys and wineyards surrounding the hotel as as in local reserves.
