Gondwana is a private game reserve situated 25 minutes outside the charming coastal town of Mossel Bay and a mere four hours drive from Cape Town whilst George Airport is only a 45-minute drive from the game reserve. As a Garden Route game reserve, Gondwana enjoys a fabulous climate with long, warm sunny days during the Northern Hemisphere’s long winter days! This Western Cape game reserve provides the perfect safari break for visitors travelling between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth or vice versa. In addition to offering a Big Five Safari experience, the scenery and views of the Langeberg Mountains are awe inspiring.

Accomodation at the main lodge is only available to those with children over the age of 12 yrs who are accommodated in 14 dome-shaped huts with sky lights so you can lie in bed at night and stargaze! All have en-suite facilities, outside deck chairs, fireplaces and tea and coffee making facilities.

Morning and evening game drives in open safari vehicles are offered on a daily basis. There is a restaurant and bar for evening meals and drinks and a swimming pool overlooking a water hole.
