Durban is the gateway to Kwa Zulu Natal and there are numerous daily flights here from all the major South African cities.  A brand new state of the art airport was built to the north of the city in time for the football World Cup in 2010. 

Kwa Zulu Natal offers the tourist a wide range of exciting and varied activities. There are the Drakensberg Mountains to the west of the state offering amazing hiking, biking and golfing as well as zip wires, canopy tour and waterfalls.  The beaches are beautiful - long stretches of white sand as far as the eye can see with lovely warm water and big, crashing waves.  Add to this some fabulous game reserves with outstanding lodges and Big 5 Game Viewing and you can easily spend your whole holiday in this one state!
